A small post about Hellocon 2015

Hellocon on ohi. Omalta osaltani se oli vähän kärsimystä henkilökohtaisista syistä, vaikka tapahtuma itsessään oli upea ja erittäin hyvin järjestetty. Ohjelma oli kattavaa ja mielenkiintoista, näytökset aivan mielettömiä! 

Mutta samalla tunsin itseni niin huonoksi. Kaiken takana on viimeaikainen painonnousuni. En tunnista itseäni kehossani enkä tunnistanut itseäni lolitassakaan. Olo asussani oli vain yksinkertaisesti huono. Asu itsessään ei ehkä ollut, mutta selitäpä se aivoilleni.

Noh, viikonloppu on ohi ja käteen jäi kirppamyynnistä mukavasti shoppailurahaa ja mukaan lähtikin muutama pieni juttu mm. uusin Kera ja äitienpäivälahjoja.

Pidemmittä puheitta, tässä on asuni. Mukana myös keppihevoseni Theodora De La Diega toimittamassa sirkushevosen virkaa. Asun teema oli taitoratsastaja tai vastaava. Piti yrittää jotenkin toteuttaa conin teemaa.

Hellocon is over. The convention was very well organised. The program was interesting and the fashion shows were fantastic! Unfortunately i had a hard time for some personal reasons and i'm just happy the weekend is over. But my bad feelings had nothing to do with the convention itself.

I've been gaining weight and that made me feel really bad about myself and my outfit. I just could not recognise myself in my body nor outfit. The outfit itself probably wasn't that bad but it didn't give me any good vibes that lolita has always given me. 

Well anyway, i got a lot of money from the flea market and bought some things to take home. Like the newest Kera and some Mother's Day presents.

Here is my outfit. I had my hobbyhorse Theodora De La Diega with me. She was kind of like a circus horse as i was a circus rider or something like that. Tried desperately to fit the theme of the convntion.

Dress is BtssB, blouse LadySloth, feather brooch indrolita, bonnet made by Sanni.

Christmas outfit!

Pidin pienen Joulumiitin Kouvolassa ja pitkästä aikaa jaksoin pukeutua lolitaan. Kyllä tuntui hyvältä! Oli myös todella ihanaa tavata uusia ja vanhoja ystäviä.

Olin myös todella iloinen, kun huomasin edes yhden mekon mahtuvan päälle. Olen kerännyt huimat 20 kiloa todella lyhyessä ajassa ja vaatteet ovat jääneet toivottoman pieniksi. Lolimekot vain roikkuvat kaapissa odottamassa, että saisin painon laskuun.

I attended a Christmas meet-up and was able to dress up! I felt so happy! And it was nice meeting new and old friends.

I was also very very glad at least one dress fit me. I have gained 20 kg in such a short time i'm short of fitting clothes. My lolita dresses just hang in the closet waiting for me to lose some pounds.

Oulu visit and Chantilly bonnet

I met Sanna in Oulu and had a reason to use my new Chantilly bonnet. This was my outfit. We visited drift stores and ate pancakes. What a nice way to spend a day!

Lolita interview with HS

Katja organized an interview for the biggest newspaper in our country. Some journalist contacted her and she invited eight Finnish lolitas to represent the style. The short internet version can be read here (only in Finnish). As you can see, they picked my picture for the main image (which i personally think was a bad choise as it does not show the readers much of lolita in general. Only the upper half of my classic lolita outfit).

Anyway, here are some pictures from the day and full pictures of my outfit. For some reason i got a lot of comments about my outfit that day from strangers. Like five times the amount i usually get. Was it the corset  figure or what?

Helsinki Pride 2013

I attended the Helsinki Pride 2013 some time ago. I already posted my outfit as i participated in the Lockshop Flower Circus competition with it (and landed in the top 20) but here are some awesome pictures mostly taken by Ichi (thank you!).
